Welcome to Abbey Independent Inventories.

We are an independent property inventory service based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. I offer extensive knowlege and expertise with over 35 years experience in the property industry.  

Having started my property career in 1989 working for a firm of Oxford estate agents, really enjoying the property industry I decided to study for a property qualification. Initially gaining the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) Certificate in Residential Sales, I went on to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) in 2005.

Following qualification I practiced as a Management Surveyor gaining extensive experience and knowledge managing large mixed-use portfolios within both the food retail industry and the leisure and licensing industry.

In 2012 my company's headquarters moved from Oxford to Warwick. I was faced with the decision of whether to relocate but having a young family I decided against commuting. Instead, in 2014 I started Abbey Independent Inventories, which I continue to run and grow.  In 2019, I started a residential letting agency and opened the William Jones Godard office in Woodstock Oxfordshire.  

Combined with my experience as a self-managing landlord, I believe I can offer real and genuine understanding of the property industy and I am able to offer assistance to both landlords, agents and tenants alike.
